Here's how:
  • If you are finishing grades 6-12, you can participate in teen summer reading. You may only participate in one summer reading program. (Those finishing sixth grade may choose either the children's or the teen summer reading program, and graduates may choose either the teen or adult program.)
  • Register at the children's room desk to receive your bookmark, book bag, reading log, and book review forms.
  • After reading a book (or listening to an audiobook), fill out a review form and return it to the children's desk to enter the $10 gift card drawing of your choice.
  • Each time you submit a review, your reading log should be stamped. Review five books and receive a free book. Review ten books and choose between a second free book or a certificate worth $5 off library overdue fines.
  • If you review five books by June 30th, you will be entered into a drawing to win two tickets to King's Island. (Exceptions to the five-book minimum may be made for those who are actively reading longer books; please talk to the children's room staff.)
